8 galleries of digitized film slides covering revitalization projects across Poland

Overview

The following 8 galleries represent Mona Serageldin’s analog slide collection on city revitalization, as arranged in box M12: “Poland,” consisting of color photographs and presentation graphics.

The collection documents rehabilitation and revitalization projects in Poland from 1995-2004, covering primarily residential infrastructure improvement programs in multiple cities. Serageldin’s photographs accompany I2UD’s involvement in providing improvement strategies, technical assistance, and support in building local initiatives across Poland from the mid-1990s through early-2000s.

Galleries 1, 5, 6, and 7 cover upgrading projects for Lublin, in southeast Poland, primarily for the neighborhoods of Bronowice and Kośminek.

Galleries 2, 3, 4, and 8 cover urban housing, city overviews, and plans for Poznań, Szczecin, Warsaw, and other areas of Poland.
